William Martinez serves as Software Engineer of Pave Labs, LLC, the wholly owned software subsidiary of Pave Finance, Inc. His work centers on implementing and testing new features and reviewing code across the platform. On Pave Pro, William recently led an investment preferences revamp and built out a new set of portfolio statistics, including risk and return scores and tracking error metrics, and earlier developed a customer performance report of the admin panel. What drew William to Pave was the potential he saw in the product early on, and he has enjoyed watching it evolve and seeing the team grow in the years since.

William began his career as a software developer in 2017. In 2019, he took part in an exchange program that included a year-long internship at a software company in Seattle, and after returning to his home country of El Salvador in 2020, he joined Willdom as a full-stack JavaScript developer.

William earned a degree in Software Engineering from Escuela Especializada en Ingeniería ITCA-FEPADE in El Salvador. Outside of work, he enjoys playing video games, traveling, and visiting new places.
