Wes Caywood

Head of Sales and Distribution

Wes Caywood joined Pave Finance in November 2023 as Managing Director and now serves as Head of Sales and Distribution for Pave Finance, Inc. and Pave Securities, LLC., the firm’s wholly-owned broker-dealer subsidiary. He leads the team responsible for the entire advisor experience, from initial sales conversations through onboarding and client success. Wes is focused on helping financial advisors deliver better client outcomes through bespoke, technology-driven solutions that save time and lower costs.

Wes brings more than 25 years in wealth management and private banking, advising ultra-high-net-worth and family office clients and leading client-facing teams at some of the biggest institutions on Wall Street. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Team Lead at Westwood Holdings, where he developed and managed UHNW, non-profit, and fiduciary relationships and sourced, analyzed, and structured alternative investments across real estate, private equity, private credit, and hedge funds. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at firms including J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Bank of America Private Bank and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette.

Throughout his career, Wes has built a track record of cultivating long-tenured relationships with sophisticated clients and structuring complex, customized solutions for institutional and UHNW investors. That same instinct for tailored, high-touch advice is what drew him to Pave, where the platform brings institutional-grade customization to advisors at scale.

Prior to his tenure in financial services, Wes served as a Naval Officer in the United States Navy for 7 ½ years. He earned a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy and an M.B.A. in Finance from Tulane University.

Wes lives in the Dallas area with his wife and labrador retriever and has three adult children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, reading history, and investment research.
