Steven Zhang serves as Software Engineer of Pave Labs, LLC, the wholly owned software subsidiary of Pave Finance, Inc. He is responsible for building Pave's internal UI component library, developing new metrics dashboards, and creating API endpoints that support the platform's internal tooling and admin infrastructure. Steven was drawn by the pace and impact of an early-stage company and by Pave’s mission to widening access to wealth management, a goal that reflects his view that technology’s biggest benefit revolves around putting more resources in more people’s hands.

Before Pave, Steven spent two and a half years at Amazon, where he interned and served as a full-time engineer. He worked on the frontend of Amazon’s internal HR case management platform and built a clickstream metrics pipeline.

Steven earned a B.S. in Mathematics and Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University. Outside of work, he enjoys running, lifting, and trying new restaurants with friends.
