Kevin Berkowitz serves as Head of Trading of Pave Securities, LLC, the wholly owned broker-dealer subsidiary of Pave Finance, Inc. As Head Trader, Kevin analyzes market trends, macroeconomic developments, and trading opportunities while working to optimize trade execution for pricing and liquidity. He built Pave’s trade monitoring program, which identifies outliers and reduces slippage across low-frequency trade baskets. What drew Kevin to the firm was its vision of using technology to achieve better outcomes for its partners and clients.

Before Pave, Kevin worked on the New York Stock Exchange trading floor, where he developed a grounding in the supply and demand dynamics that drive liquidity and price movement. He went on to work across a range of cash desks, from a boutique startup to a large broker-dealer, helping scale trading infrastructure in equities and options and building liquidity solutions for buyside clients.

Kevin studied Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before transferring to Pace University where he earned a BBA in Finance, a move prompted by a growing interest in financial markets. He holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation, which underpins his work in technical analysis.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors with his family, particularly at the beach and on the slopes.
