Jeannette Gaston

Jeannette Gaston joined Pave Finance in December 2022 and serves as Chief Financial Officer and FINOP of Pave Securities, LLC., the wholly-owned broker-dealer subsidiary of the firm. She is responsible for financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and maintaining the books and records of Pave's broker-dealer. Since joining, Jeannette has played a central role in completing Pave Securities' New Membership Agreement, the process through which the broker-dealer was approved by FINRA and the SEC. She has led multiple annual audits for both Pave Securities and Pave Finance.

Jeannette's career spans three decades in financial services, with deep roots in both accounting and the infrastructure of electronic trading. She began her accounting career at Morgan Stanley before serving as Controller at BRUT ECN during the early days of electronic trading. After NASDAQ acquired BRUT, she served as FVP and Director of Finance at Instinet, which was later acquired by Nomura Securities. She then founded Castle Financial Solutions, providing CFO, Controller, and FINOP services to independent broker-dealers, bringing institutional-grade financial rigor to firms building outside the wirehouses. What drew Jeannette to Pave was the chance to contribute to an innovative team building AI-powered tools for the next era of trading.

Jeannette earned a B.S. in Accounting from Saint Peter's University in New Jersey and is a registered Financial and Operations Principal, holding a Series 27 license. She also began college as a computer science major and continues to bring that instinct for automation and process efficiency into her workflow and approach.

Outside of work, Jeannette enjoys traveling, tennis, pickleball, skiing, and is currently learning Mahjong with friends and family. Now based in Kinnelon, New Jersey, she grew up in Brooklyn in a Dominican household and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
