Isaac Amarilla serves as Software Engineer of Pave Labs, LLC, the wholly owned software subsidiary of Pave Finance, Inc. As part of the experience team, he contributes to the development of Pave’s platform, focusing on the design system that dictates user workflows and usage of Pave’s software.

He was drawn to Pave by his longstanding interest in finance and investing, and sees Pave as a great opportunity to deepen his understanding of how the investment market works. He is especially drawn to the part of Pave's mission focused on helping people reach financial freedom, retirement, and their broader financial goals.

Isaac brings a wide-ranging engineering background to the role. He spent nine years at his family's software development agency, where he held roles spanning software engineer, project manager, tech lead, CTO, and CEO, and helped many startups build and scale their products. Seeing those products reach the market was deeply rewarding, and it mirrors the satisfaction he finds in his work at Pave today. He went on to serve as an AI model trainer and LLM software engineer at a leading artificial intelligence company, and most recently worked as a backend software engineer and solutions architect at a startup in the retail industry.

Isaac studied Computer Science Engineering at the Universidad Nacional de Asunción, and recently presented his final project at the International Conference on eGovernment and eDemocracy at the University of Lisbon. He has also completed a deep learning specialization through deeplearning.ai, along with numerous courses in software development and a university course in biocomputing.

Outside of work, Isaac is an active scout, and volunteering is a meaningful part of his life. He is a musician who plays violin and guitar and sings, and he spends much of his free time playing chess. He also practices karate and kickboxing, and enjoys keeping up with advances in machine learning, quantum computing, biocomputation, physics, and mathematics.
