Customer Success Manager

Gustav Grutzik joined Pave Finance in June 2025 and serves as Customer Success Manager, working across the sales, customer success, and product teams to build the internal processes and assets that keep the business running. He has helped design the company's current sales pipeline and plays a central role in translating client and prospect needs into product and tooling improvements. What drew Gustav to Pave was the chance to work on a team that is small yet incredibly driven, reliable, kind, and highly capable, pushing the bar for what’s possible in an industry that historically moves slowly.

Gustav brings experience across three different startups, spanning sales and operational strategy on teams ranging from three to fifty people. His breadth in technology and sales is what drives his practical instinct for building processes that scale without overcomplicating them. He carries a sharp ability to analyze a problem, form a strategy, and execute while iterating in real time, skills he considers the most important in early-stage environments.

Gustav earned a B.S. in Economics with a minor in Accounting from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. After years of living and working remotely, he decided to end his “nomadic streak” and settle in New York City, a move he credits for leading him to Pave and to work he genuinely loves. Outside of work, Gustav enjoys exploring the city, looking for new restaurants and venues to share with friends, reading science fiction and fantasy, and spending time outdoors when he can.
