Ed Tedeschi

Head of Strategic Relationships

Ed Tedeschi co-founded Pave Finance in 2021 and serves as Head of Strategic Relationships across Pave Finance, Inc., Pave Securities, LLC., and Pave Investment Advisors, LLC, where he leverages four decades of experience across financial services to support Pave’s growth and partnership strategy at the enterprise level.

Ed’s background consists of more than 40 years in the financial services industry, with a career that spans some of the most consequential institutions on Wall Street. He began at Goldman Sachs, where he spent his early years learning the foundations of operations, finance, and administration. He went on to become a founding member of Morgan Stanley Services, the prime brokerage, securities lending, and clearing arm of the firm, where he spent a decade helping build the business through some of its most pivotal moments, including its IPO.

After relocating to California, Ed served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Genesis Merchant Group, a $20 billion investment boutique with registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, and proprietary hedge fund operations. He later founded and led HC Associates, LLC. as Chief Executive Officer for a decade, building a firm that delivered customized services and business solutions to start-ups, established financial firms, and acquired entities across the registered investment advisor, wealth management, hedge fund, private equity, and family office landscape. Ed also served as Principal at Rothstein Kass, where he established and developed the Western Region of the Americas, and subsequently as Principal at KPMG Advisory, leading the alternative investment consulting business for the Western Region.

Most recently, Ed served as COO and CFO of BluePort Capital, an alternative investment management firm within the Keystone Advisors enterprise. He has also held senior advisory roles with Constellation Advisors, 801 West Capital Management, and The Northern Trust Company. Across his career, Ed has participated in the launch of more than 3,500 hedge, private equity, and hybrid alternative funds, and has played a hand in some of the most notable transactions in the alternative asset space, including the sale and conversion of GMG/Seneca Capital Management to Phoenix Investment Partners, the launch of Bel Air Investment Advisors, and the sale of HC Associates to Rothstein Kass.
